My name is
Scott Wolf and I am a sinner saved by the grace of God! Now I happen to be the Sr. Pastor at Maranatha Bible Chapel a church in The Christian and Missionary Alliance located in Horseheads, NY. This is my wife Juliana and on October 1, 2011 we will have been married 23 years. The picture you see us in is from one of our many trips to the Adirondack Park in upstate New York. We love to camp as a family because it brings us closer in relationship with one another and with our children of which we have four. God has built us for relationship! I was converted while in college at Hobart College in Geneva, NY. After college I went into the business world and have had a very successful career as a salesperson in the Traffic Safety Industry. I have traveled the entire United States and overseas doing sales work while listening to God's call in my life for full-time ministry. After 23 plus years in the sales field, almost 19 years with one company, I answered the call to full-time ministry and stepped away from my sales career. My wife, my family, and I are on an adventurous journey as God writes the story of our lives in this world, our temporary home! Someday we will be in our permanent home, face to face with Him and what joy shall fill our hearts. Our goal in this life is to fulfill the call of God on our hearts to bring the Gospel message of Christ's sacrifice to all who will believe. Peace and blessing to you in Christ.

The Lord called Bill to the ministry in May of 1948. To prepare for the ministry, he attended Nyack College in New York State and earned a BRE and BS. During the last two years in college, Bill served as a student pastorate at Garnerville, NY. The Wells have served as Maranatha's part-time Seniors/Visitation Pastor since 1996. Previous to coming to Maranatha, Pastor Bill served at the Arcade Alliance Church (5 1/2 years), North Waverly Community Chapel (35 years), and conducted early morning services at the Riceville Community Church. In 2008 Pastor Wells stepped down as the Seniors Pastor but has remained on as Visitation Pastor. Pastor Wells and his wife Eleanor both received Jesus Christ as their personal Savior at an early age. Bill and Eleanor were married in 1952 and have three sons who are serving the Lord in their respective churches. His main outside interest is sports. Speaking and visitation at various nursing homes and hospitals are some of the responsibilities the couple participates in. You will always find them with a smile, a friendly handshake (and a quick wit) as they continue to serve the Lord Jesus Christ.
